[ Student-centric Music Lesson... ]

How do we develop and nuture pupils' 21st Century Competencies during music lessons? By conducting student-centric music lessons. Pupils are empowered to make choices, to be creative, to contribute to the progress of the music lessons, to collaboratively think of ideas they can perform a certain song, to be critical thinkers, to be socially and globally aware through the songs they learn and also to take charge of their own learning. Instead of listening to teacher talking all day, pupils are engaged musically to make music. They get to experience and explore various musical instruments since young. Hopefully, pupils from Juying Primary School develop a great interest in learning music.
